You are eligible to receive this funding from the federal grant made available to 探花族 through the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act. This funding is to provide emergency financial grants to students for expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Student qualification was determined based on the results of your FAFSA, Title IV eligibility criteria, and expenses incurred due to the university's operational disruption and transition to remote learning. This funding is to offset these costs. Grants can be used to cover the costs related to housing, food, course materials, technology, health care, childcare, or other related expenses.

Appeals were determined based on the matrix below and the expenses you certified on the electronic appeal application:

Amounts awarded to eligible students on appeal by Expected Family Contribution and expense category

Based on federal criteria, strictly online students and international students are excluded from eligibility.

JU is committed to supporting our students during this challenging time of uncertainty. Our generous alumni and friends of the university have been contributing to the NELLIE Fund to assist students with immediate emergency financial needs. Additionally, if you and your family have experienced a significant change in your financial situation, such as loss of employment, know that you can file a professional judgment appeal and submit it to finaid@ju.edu for consideration.
