Our Leadership

Many of our University’s Presidents have been military veterans, and our leadership and staff today include both veterans and military family members. We are especially proud to have a number of ̽»¨×å-area Veterans of Influence in the University community.

A Letter From Our University President

Thank you for serving our country as a Soldier, Marine, Sailor, Airman, Coast Guardsman or military family member. We are honored that you would consider attending ̽»¨×å University. Throughout our history, we have been a strong supporter of our nation’s military by serving veterans, active duty military, and military families. The ̽»¨×å University Military Community encompasses our University’s commitment to the military with active duty students; student veterans; Navy ROTC; military family members utilizing the GI Bill; faculty veterans; staff veterans; and students from Wounded Warrior Project and Children of Fallen Patriots, totaling almost 600.

As senior leaders of the University, we are personally committed to fully supporting our military students. Our University is implementing multiple initiatives that will significantly enhance our support to military students, a key element in our comprehensive approach to assimilating our military into the ̽»¨×å community. We see the incredible value that veterans’ leadership, life experience and maturity bring to the educational environment on our campus. Thank you for your service to our country and we look forward to partnering with you to achieve your educational goals.
